Chicago is a “foodie town,” and this podcast will whet your appetite and get you ready to enjoy the city’s cuisine on Tuesday, June 26, during the 2012 IABC World Conference in Chicago!
One of the more popular social events held during the annual IABC World Conference is the Dine-Around event. The Dine-Arounds, held on the Tuesday evening of every IABC World Conference, provide an opportunity for conference attendees to network with their fellow attendees in groups of about 10 at some of the best and favorite restaurants in the host city.
This year, attendees of the 2012 IABC World Conference in Chicago will choose between more than 30 restaurants. How are the restaurants selected? How do attendees reserve their place at any restaurant, and do we all need to bring calculators with us to figure out each person’s portion of the bill?
These questions and more are covered in this 6-minute interview by Tom Keefe, ABC, of the two leaders of the Dine-Around planning team: Julie Baron and Susan D’Alexander, ABC.
The music at the beginning and end of the podcast is from a Brian Hartzog song, “Alright to Drive,” available onMevio.com.
