If you are a performer who is ready to share your musical talent with your IABC colleagues, consider signing up for a slot during an open mic scheduled for Saturday evening, June 23 at the Sheraton Towers, Chicago.
Following an invitation-only Leaders Reception, the 2012 IABC World Conference Hospitality Task Force and IABC conference planning staff will host the first open mic at an IABC World Conference. The idea originated when IABC/Chicago member Ruth Savolaine heard IABC member Tim Buckley perform during an ad-hoc gathering of IABC leaders at the 2011 World Conference in San Diego.
Tim is set to play at the 2012 “IABC Jam,” along with IABC/Chicago’s own Tom Keefe and others.
The event will be open to all world conference attendees, and will be held in the Chi Bar at the Sheraton Towers, following the Leaders Reception. Admission will be free, with a cash bar.
