Each year, much like our IABC/Chicago Bronze Quill Awards, the IABC Pacific Plains Region hosts their annual Silver Quill Awards competition. The competition invites participation from communicators throughout our region, encompassing 19 states from Wisconsin to Hawaii and from Arizona to North Dakota. Seasoned communicators evaluated communication entries for their strategy, effectiveness and creativity.

Chicagoans – from a variety of industries – were awarded six IABC/PPR Silver Quill Awards in the 2012 program! Silver Quill Awards honor communicators who have achieved this by:

  • Setting and meeting objectives that delivered valuable, measurable results to the organization.
  • Using strategic thinking, creativity, ingenuity or whatever it took to get the job done.
  • Measuring the outcomes to demonstrate success.
