Reach for the Stars! 2018 Bronze Quill Awards

Reach for the Stars! The 37th Annual IABC Chicago Bronze Quill Awards competition is open! As “the Oscars” of Chicago communications, the IABC Chicago Bronze Quill Award represents the pinnacle of communications excellence.

Why Enter? Winning an award can help you justify a raise or increase in your budget. It improves your personal confidence and establishes your credibility. The award, most important, exemplifies your excellence in communication practice. Start your entry here.

Winners Receive: Peer and personal acclaim, recognition at the annual Bronze Quill Awards Reception in September, a personalized award, use of the Bronze Quill logo and mention on the IABC Chicago website and in a national press release!

Download the 2018 Call for Entries brochure and submit your entry. Chicago communicators can now enter the 2018 Bronze Quill Awards sponsored by the Chicago chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). As ‘the Oscar’ for Chicago-area communications professionals, the contest recognizes the best and brightest work from all communications disciplines completed during 2018 – from marketing and public relations to writers and digital media experts.

Previous winners represent companies large and small, including Allstate, Boeing, ComEd, McDonald’s, Sprint, Samsung, Towers Watson, Walgreen’s and Zurich.

Award-winning entries demonstrate strategic thought process with clearly defined goals and objectives, measurable results against objectives and value added contribution to the client or organization. Winners receive a personalized trophy, recognition on IABC Chicago’s web site and mention in a press release.

New This Year: L.C. Williams Award.  The first L.C. Williams Award for excellence in communications research will be awarded to one entrant in the Communication Research category who clearly shows how outstanding research significantly impacted the success of a communication plan or program. The award is given based on scores and a panel review. Learn more about L.C. Williams.

Entrants do not need to be members of IABC. The deadline for entry submissions has been extended to is July 23, 2018, at midnight, Central Time.

Good luck!
