IABC Chicago has partnered with Jill O’Mahony Stewart\, adjunct faculty at DePaul University\, to bring you this business writing session. \nThis webinar looks at common pitfalls even otherwise-good writers produce.  Using a combination of exercises\, reminders\, and refreshers\, as well as some new tips and techniques\, Jill Stewart takes an organic look at what makes writing “good” and how everyone can sharpen their own writing game. From getting started – aka writer’s block – to exploring “what’s-in-it-for-me\,” and all-too-common errors\, webinar content will provide ways to make written products cleaner\, clearer\, more concise and ultimately more effective in achieving their intent. In addition\, she will provide resources to participants so they may continue to explore ways to enhance their writing skills and build on the webinar’s “lessons learned.” \nJill O’Mahony Stewart is a writing teacher and coach. From 1986-2008 she managed Stewart Communications\, a PR firm devoted to “issues that matter.” The StewComm team served clients on assignments ranging from improving end-of-life care and planning\, to affordable housing\, to fire-retardant building materials — all with the common theme of providing targeted audiences with important information that would enhance and influence their daily lives\, their well-being\, or their business decisions. \nRegister Now!
