SUMMARY:Using Improv to Build Your Communication Culture! - September 21 Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:Using Improv to Build Your Communication Culture! \nWed.\, Sept 21\, 2022\, 11:30am – 1pm \nMaggiano’s Naperville \nRegister Today! Click Now \nJoin IABC/Chicago as we return to in-person luncheons! \n“Yes\, and” is perhaps one of the most practical and direct applications of improv in the workplace. So how do we incorporate “yes\, and” into workplace culture and leadership communications? \nLearn to apply the principles – and not to mention the fun(!) – of improv comedy to help create stronger relationships\, foster more productive collaboration\, and unlock more powerful creativity for your team. \nThis will be an interactive event where you will learn how to build trust and confidence in yourself and others all while having fun and a good laugh! \nWhen: 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.\, Wednesday\, September 21 \nWhere: Maggiano’s Little Italy\, 1847 Freedom Drive\, Naperville\, IL \nCost: $35 members/$45 non-members/$20 students with ID

SUMMARY:Professional Development Event “Unleash the Power of Storytelling: Win Hearts\, Change Minds\, Get Results”
DESCRIPTION:  \n  \nEvery organization\, be it a Fortune 500 company\, a nonprofit or a startup\, needs a story that captures the “why” beyond the “what” and communicates your purpose\, brand and relevance in a way that’s unique and compelling. Then you’ll have the chance to construct\, refine and share your own story. \nFeb. 22\, 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. \nRegister here. \nAbout Rob Biesenbach \nThrough workshops\, consulting and books\, Rob Biesenbach helps leaders communicate with purpose\, power and impact so they can achieve their business goals. \nRob is a former vice president at Ogilvy PR\, press secretary to the Ohio Attorney General and a nonprofit and association executive. He’s also a Second City trained actor who brings a little show business style to the subject of business communications. \nHis latest book is Unleash the Power of Storytelling: Win Hearts\, Change Minds\, Get Results\, on which this presentation is based.
