Held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Maggiano’s Chicago

Watch video wrap-up to posted soon!!

Seeking a fresh and exciting perspective for your social media plan?
Not sure where to start?

Today’s savvy communicators are looking for ways to engage their audiences while maximizing precious time and resources. No matter your experience level, social media can be a great way to jumpstart your business or cause.

Our panel of emerging social media leaders will provide you with ways that you can succeed through strategic planning and practical examples. You won’t want to miss this exciting session featuring experts who have worked with social media from the beginning.

Not only will you hear from our emerging leaders, but we will practice what our experts preach about the power of social media. We’ll tap social media experts from around the globe to hear what they think. Want to know more about this technique? Do you think this could be a great way for you to engage your audiences? Then this luncheon is for you!

Marty Finn, Sr. Associate, Zocalo Group, will draw from his experiences with Ketchum Public Relations and Zocalo Group to address changing the marketing mindset from traditional PR and adapting to the social media/word of mouth space. He will also discuss the importance of planning and strategy in engaging and sustaining conversation through social media.

Leah Jones, Director of Customer Experience, SpotOn, drawing from her experiences with Edelman Public Relations and independent days with Nativ Arts & Media, will provide practical examples of uniquely successful social media campaigns. It is through these practical examples, that she’ll provide you with new ideas on how to ‘get your message out’ using social media.

Brian Hall, Managing Supervisor, Gibbs & Soell, and IABC/Chicago Social Media Director will moderate the session – using his own unique social media expertise to help pull it all together to ensure IABC members walk away with tips they can use that afternoon. He will also help highlight what the future of social media holds.

Also, remember to bring business cards for this networking activity.
