Barbara Fagan-Smith is an IABC Executive Board member at-large, and founder and CEO of ROI Communication. Barbara attended the IABC/Chicago Jan. 19, 2011 professional development luncheon, and afterwards, spoke with IABC/Chicago President Tom Keefe, ABC.
The conversation included an update on the primary strategic focus in 2011 for the IABC Executive Board. Tom and Barbara also discussed current trends in internal communications.
Barbara said: “It was fun to come to this event. I can tell that you’re a really strong chapter. I would encourage people to take the time to go to events and get to know people…. It’s amazing as I’ve gotten to know people at IABC around the world, how wonderful friendships have been and how interestingly the relationships end up helping in ways you could never imagine.
