Kimberlie England, Principal and Change Management Leader at Findley Davies, presented a follow-up to last year’s successful presentation, “Your Prescription for Potent Healthcare Communication,” at the Professional Development Luncheon held on October 19.
So much remains unknown about how healthcare reform will impact the industry, individual organizations, and employees. You are left to decide: How much do I communicate about healthcare reform? How do I make it understandable? How do I deliver our organization’s messages?
This presentation, led by Kimberlie England, principal/partner at Findley Davies, a Human Resource consulting firm, helped the audience understand the major messages behind healthcare reform. Kimberlie was joined by Debra Crow, Corporate Communications Manager for The Andersons, Inc., a regional leader in the grain industry and other agribusiness operations. Debra provided insights into the practical implementation of a strategy that includes a look at healthcare reform. They shared best practices and provided unique ideas for helping the message get noticed.
Attendees also received summary results of a recent survey conducted by HR Consultant and IABC Board Member Ken Groh. His company recently surveyed companies to determine what employers are telling their employees about heathcare reform. Groh is a member of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce Committee on Healthcare, which is focusing on the impact of heathcare reform within the State of Illinois
