Congratulations to Bridget Paskey, who recently rejoined IABC/Chicago after letting her membership lapse in recent years. Bridget now will enjoy the many benefits of IABC/Chicago membership–as well as a very special bonus: a complimentary registration to the 2012 IABC World Conference!
Bridget’s name was selected from among a hatful of names representing all of the people who, between Feb. 1 to March 15, either joined IABC/Chicago for the first time, or rejoined after letting the membership lapse for at least three years.
She now will participate in the June 24-27 2012 IABC World Conference as a registered attendee, courtesy of IABC/Chicago, which sponsored the drawing.
“I have been an IABC member for the majority of my career,” Bridget wrote. “I had let my membership lapse over the last few years due to frequent travel. I always credit IABC for launching my career through opportunities found in my student chapter.”
Bridget’s career is taking a new direction, and the networking opportunities afforded at the World Conference come at a good time for her. “I am currently in a career transition–the first of my career, having recently left PepsiCo after 14 years in internal global communications. I am looking for my next success story,you might say!”
