32nd Annual Bronze Quill Winners Celebrated at Wildfire

IABC/Chicago celebrated the 2013 Bronze Quill Award winners with an exposition format on Tuesday, June 4 at Wildfire in downtown Chicago. The event recognizes this year’s IABC/Chicago Bronze Quill Winners, the 2013 Karen Utterback Award winner, Margaret (Peg) Wander, committee volunteers and board members.

The annual competition, now in its 32nd year, was open to all Chicago-area business communicators who completed a significant project that embodied excellence in one of 27 categories across three divisions: communication management, communication skills and creative.

The Bronze Quill Award recognizes communication professionals for their excellence in developing and executing business communication programs. Winning entries feature clear objectives supporting the organization’s goals, creative communication strategies and effective, measurable results.

“Bronze Quill entries are judged by seasoned IABC professionals from other U.S. chapters, based on stringent standards set by the leading global business communications professional organization,” said Alex Mitchell, Director of Awards for IABC/Chicago. “The 2013 winners combined creativity and sound business strategy to influence a company’s goals, as well as its bottom line.”
