Thanks to the many IABC/Chicago members who participated in this year’s Gift of Communication volunteer event. Four Chicagoland agencies participated and gave rave reviews to the teammates assigned to help tackle their communication issues.
The half-day event provided free communication consulting for area non-profits identified as deserving recipients by the United Way for their participation in local African American or Latino initiatives. Agency representatives left the event armed with communication strategies, plans and production advice to achieve their goals.
A special thanks to IABC/Chicago members Meghan Dougan, Emily Kehinde and Sara Kohler who coordinated the event and to DePaul University for donating the space.
