We made some big changes this year in the timeline for the 2016 Bronze Quill Awards sponsored by the Chicago chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). Unfortunately, many IABC members and attendees missed our deadlines, and some mentioned not seeing our communications about the contest being open.
To give everyone an opportunity to submit their best work in all communication disciplines, from marketing and public relations to writers and digital media experts, we are extending this year’s deadline to June 13.
So there still is time to enter the premier Chicago communication competition!
For information regarding the process and tips on how to improve your entry, go to the Awards page.
Previous winners represent companies large and small, including Allstate, Boeing, ComEd, McDonald’s, Sprint, Samsung, Towers Watson, Walgreen’s and Zurich.
Former Bronze Quill Award winner Kaarina Marsili, managing consultant at ROC Group, said “The award validates that the work we do for our clients is best-in-class, and it offers credibility to our industry.” She added, “Regardless of the outcome of your submission, the judges’ feedback is invaluable in helping refine and plan future projects.”
Award-winning entries demonstrate strategic thought process with clearly defined goals and objectives, measurable results against objectives and value added contribution to the client or organization. Winners receive a personalized trophy, a complimentary ticket to the annual awards gala, recognition on IABC Chicago’s web site and mention in a press release.
Entrants do not need to be members of IABC. The extended submission deadline is Monday, June 13, 2016 at midnight, Central Time.
Good luck!
