IABC/Chicago is planning a multi-modal PR blitz targeting the Chicago Business Community for the 2024-25 season to build awareness of the importance of strategic communications for business success. From strategy, planning and execution to message alignment and executive positioning, firms that fail to put a communications leadership seat at the table are missing a critical voice in their leadership team that impacts reputation to employee engagement and organizational performance.
We’ll work as a team to fine tune a communications plan, then break off to execute independently to achieve the following:
- articles in Chicago-area traditional business media
- panel discussions and speaking opportunities at local business leader groups
- regular thought leadership content on the IABC Linked In page — to be shared in strategically-selected high-membership LinkedIn groups.
COMMITMENT:
Once the planning stage is complete, we anticipate 1-2 alignment meetings per month plus the time to execute any work you commit to producing for the campaign.
We need planners and doers, preferably with strong local media and business organization contact lists.
As a volunteer, the campaign will increase your visibility and your network while elevating everything that the profession brings to the business world outside of our own ‘in the know’ echo chamber.
