IABC/Chicago: Unlock Magic in Your Network April 8, 9amCT

Think of all the jobs that you’ve had since you were of legal working age. How did you get those jobs? I would guess that the majority—say 98% of them—happened because you knew someone, a friend or a family member. You have a network of people that are more than willing to help you navigate your way to your dream work. Let’s start to make these connections in a simple and natural way.

Join IABC/Chicago and Greg Monaco, Brand Strategist and Story Coach, to find the right words that can improve your ability to tell magnetic stories and attract new opportunities for growth and success. Walkaway with a template you can apply to connecting with anyone you meet moving forward.

Meet Greg

I help people tell magnetic stories so they can attract opportunities.

If you see yourself as a lone wolf, an independent thinker, or a unique creator, I can relate. I’ve run my own businesses for the past 25 years. Entrepreneur, brand strategist, and writer, I help people find the right words to open new doors.

My online coaching hub called Relaunch U is helping those in the midst of a career move package themselves up for what’s next.

Previously, I was a Founding Partner of Monaco Lange, an independent global brand consultancy in the heart of New York City. I was also a Senior Copywriter at Ogilvy New York helping tell stories for clients like Girl Scouts of the USA, American Express, AT&T Wireless, SAP, and IBM to name a few.

You can see my ideas on Entrepreneur.com, Advertising Age, and Human Resources Executive. You can also find me speaking about storytelling at Columbia University, NYU, Temple University, and Sacred Heart University. I have also enjoyed many pursuits as an architectural photographer, professional soccer player, and filmmaker. I live in Connecticut with my wife, Jill, and our three children Aidan, Cameron, and Kylie.
