Dear IABC/Chicago Community,
As 2025 winds down, I reflect with deep gratitude on the incredible year we’ve had together. This community continues to inspire me with its warmth, energy, and drive to lead meaningful change through outcome-focused strategic communication.
Over the past few months, we’ve:
- Kicked off a three-year strategic vision rooted in connection, advocacy, and growth.
- Celebrated 45 years of IABC Chicago history, highlighting our board members’ stories.
- Encouraged opportunities to explore professional certification with GCCC.
- Held conversations that mattered, from equity in leadership to innovation and ethical use of AI.
- Launched editorial and content strategies to help us all engage better, together.
None of this happens without you. Behind every event, every volunteer effort, and every post, there’s a member like you, sharing time, energy, and care to shape a stronger, more vibrant communication profession. Thank you to our members, volunteers, and sponsors who continue to show up, contribute, and help move our work forward.
